Gene Kranz, PhD — Behavorial Health Integration Manager, Links 4 Health
Hello and welcome to the HealthMatters of Central Oregon website. I consider it an honor and privilege to be a part of a great team of people who are working to improve the health of Central Oregonians. I feel it’s very important that people feel empowered and have the necessary resources to better manage their own and their family’s health and well-being. As the behavioral health integration manager, I feel fortunate to be in a position to help develop and implement systems and programs that assist Central Oregonians in managing their behavioral health needs more effectively.
Prior experiences include working at a variety of behavioral and mental health settings, including Kaiser Permanente, a university counseling center, and a community mental health center. In addition, prior career paths included high school teaching and athletics coaching, business coaching, and sales. I graduated from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2008, and from UC Santa Barbara, with a B.A. in Biological Sciences in 1998. I also work at Mosaic Medical, a comprehensive primary care center in Bend, and assist people in better managing their physical ailments from a psychological and emotional perspective.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, visiting farmer’s markets, and practicing aikido.
